Add a Project to a Portfolio
Add projects to portfolios by creating filters. Projects added to a portfolio must belong to the same workspace as the portfolio or a child workspace. Projects can belong to multiple portfolios.
To add a project to a portfolio:
- In the object selector, select Portfolio, and then select View Portfolios List.
- In the table, select the portfolio.
- In the Project List detail window, select Edit Filter.
- In the Set Filter Criteria dialog box, select the criteria for including projects in the portfolio.
- Select Assign.
- Select Save.
Tips
- Select Refresh Portfolio to refresh the project list, or it can be set to refresh automatically. The project list also updates when the filter is modified.
- If a project no longer meets the filter criteria, but is included in an approved portfolio budget plan, it will remain in the portfolio's project list.
- For best performance, it is recommended to limit the number of projects in a portfolio to 10,000. Adjust the filter criteria to reduce the number of included projects.
You can also perform this task from the Summary & Settings page for the object in Primavera Cloud:
- In the object selector, select Portfolio, and then select View Portfolios List.
- Select a portfolio name.
- From the Main Menu, select Summary & Settings.
- On the Summary & Settings page, select Details.
