Configure the Historical Reporting Options
Reports can be configured to retrieve historical data. This enables you to report on data from a certain point of time in the past. You can specify a reporting date by choosing an exact calendar date or by specifying a time interval relative to the current time.
To configure historical reporting options:
- In the object selector, select
Workspace,
Project,
Portfolio, or
Program, and then select an object name from the list.
- From the
Main Menu, select
Reports, and then select Report List.
- On the Report List page, in the table, select a report, select the
Context menu, and then select Edit.
- In the Report Editor panel, in the pane, select the History list.
- Select Run report using historical data to enable historical reporting, and then specify report date options:
- Specify a date: Select this option, and use the date picker to select today or a date in the past to run the report against.
- Specify a time interval: Select this option to select a time relative to the current time to run the report against.
- If you selected a weekly time frame, in the Week ending on list, select the day the week ends.
- Select OK.
- Select Save.
- In the Report Editor panel, select
Close.
Note: Make a time selection that is at least one hour prior to the current date and time. Updates made to historical data might take up to an hour to appear.
