Creating a Project Proposal Approval Workflow: Example
This chapter explains how to create an example workflow that manages project proposals. While this example may not represent the practices in your organization, it can help you better understand workflows in Primavera Cloud.
Before you begin—
- Make sure you have access to a workspace where you can safely create example workflows, forms, project proposals, and projects.
- In the workspace where you plan to work through this example, make sure you have these workspace-level security permissions:
- Workflow Design: Add, Edit, Delete, View
- Workflow Configuration: Add, Edit, Delete, View
- Forms: Add, Edit, Delete, View
- Projects: Add
- Project Proposals: Add
- To perform the manual approval task in this workflow, you must be assigned the Approver security role in any project proposal that you set this workflow to run against.
After you are sure these requirements are satisfied, follow all of the steps in this example in order. When you are done, you should have a fully functional workflow that you can run against a sample project proposal.
