Set a Primary Program for a Project

Projects can be added to one or more programs. For each project that is included in multiple programs, you can select its primary program, which will be used on the budget planning program view. You can also filter and group by primary program on the Programs page.

To set a primary program for a project:

  1. Navigate to the project Details page
  2. In the Details section, in the Primary Program field, select a primary program.
  3. Select Save.

You can also do this on the Projects page.

  1. In the object selector, select Project, and then select View Projects List.
  2. In the table, select a project, and then select a primary program in the Primary Program column.

    Note: If an error displays when loading the details page for a project created before the 24.1 (January 2024) release of Primavera Cloud, assign a manager to the project from the Projects page. See Assign a Manager to a Project for instructions.
